Easy Candied Pecans
A fall time favorite around here! I love having a batch of this in our Casita. We add them to a beautiful fall salad, top of oatmeal or simply enjoy as a snack.
These honestly taste just as good if not better than store-bought ones. Best of all, you know exactly what you made them with.
Let's make them!
Ingredients:
1 cup of pecans
1 tbs of grass-fed butter
1.5 tbs of organic pure maple syrup
1tsp of organic raw coconut sugar
Instructions:
Place a small pan over low heat, add the butter, and allow it to melt. Add in the pecans and toss to cost with butter and allow them to begin to toast up. This takes 1 minute to 2 minutes. Add the 1.5 tbs of maple syrup and 1tsp of coconut sugar, Keep tossing constantly for another 5 minutes. You will know the pecans are done when you see the maple syrup begin to bubble up and no longer see sugar granules.
Remove from heat immediately and allow to cool before enjoying
